Trish Jones’ talk – Why is Mountfield here?’

In her illustrated talk Trish Jones, who looks after the Mountfield village archive, will try to answer this question, as well as why the village has developed in the way it has. The talk will cover a history of our village, from earliest times to the present day.

Trish will also have copies of both volumes of ‘Mountfield Meanderings’ for sale, (illustrated histories of Mountfield) at £7.50 each, as well as ‘Lady Mabelle’s Coffee Shop’ at £5.These books are sold to raise funds for the Village Hall. She also has a few copies of ‘Silas and the Mountfield Treasure’ by the late Trevor Sully at £7.50.

Bar and light refreshment will be available. Doors open 7pm for

7.30 start.

Everyone is welcome. Entry by donation with all profits going towards funds for the upkeep of the Village Hall, please be as generous as you can.
