A change of venue this year! The Mountfield Heath School has very kindly offered to host the Assembly 2020 and we all look forward to a great evening.

So, come along and join us on Tuesday 14th April for the Mountfield Parish Assembly 2020, enjoy a glass of wine and meet the people from our Mountfield organisations, find out what they are doing and meet up with friends and neighbours.
It’s a friendly and informal evening and a great chance to catch up with Mountfield news.
We hope to have a guest speaker – more details later.
This year is the 900th Anniversary of our beautiful church – All Saints – and we hope the Parish Assembly will play a part in this. It’s going to be a busy and exciting year for Mountfield.
The Assembly will start at 7.30pm, it is not a parish council meeting, but a great chance for us all to get together.

Edlins Farm, Mountfield Lane – (outline) to demolish Edlins Farm House and adjacent barn. Build a house on the existing foundations of the present residential part of the barn.

MPC have been given the deadline date for responses to RDC as 20.08.19 (this application will be discussed at the MPC planning meeting on 13.08.19) – the deadline date for responses may be different by a few days on the pink notice outside the location.
The Open Garden Event at the Old Bakery will be held on Sunday 8th September, from 11am to 3pm.
The event is in aid of the charity CLICS Sargent (Cancer and Leukemia in Children).
There will be stalls, gifts, plants, children’s books, a raffle, face painting and games.
Entry is £5.00, which includes a cup of tea/coffee and under 16s are free.
Come along and support this vital charity and have a great time.
Eatenden Lane will be closed – at either side of Riverhall Level Crossing, a distance of 65 metres, for Network Rail to carry out level crossing inspections. The works are expected to take 2 days from 01.15 hours on 01.09.19 to 04.00 hours on 02.09.19.
The diversion route is via C96 Netherfield Road – A2100 London Road – U6624 Solomon’s Lane and vice versa.
